Shepherdstown is located on the Potomac River in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle, and is 70 miles from both Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. The oldest town in the state, it is situated just minutes from Antietam National Battlefield; Harpers Ferry National Park, countless galleries and boutique shops; numerous whitewater rafting, hiking, and other outdoor trails and opportunities; and is home to the region’s finest restaurant and music scene. One of America’s great small towns, Shepherdstown is a wonderful mix of metropolitan thought and rustic ambience.
