Information & Policies
Assisted listening devices are available at all Frank Center and Marinoff Theater performances by calling ahead to the Box Office. All CATF performance spaces are handicapped accessible. Please let us know your needs when ordering your tickets.
All three venues (Frank Center, Marinoff, and Studio 112) are ASSIGNED seating. We are happy to entertain special location requests, if possible. Otherwise, all orders via mail or phone are filled on a “best available” approach. If you order your tickets online, you can choose your own seats. If you have special seating or access needs, please call ahead to the Box Office. Doors to the theaters open 30 minutes before each performance; will-call at each venue opens 60 minutes before the performance.
TICKET EXCHANGE POLICY
Tickets can be exchanged up to 24 hours before curtain time for tickets to a different performance of the same play, subject to availability.
All sales and contributions are final, there are NO REFUNDS.
I have the confirmation email, but how do I see my order?
To see and/or print your e-tickets or order confirmation, please click on the link following the Order ID number in the email you received from Vendini, our ticketing system (your ticket confirmation will not come from the Contemporary American Theater Festival).
Why can’t I see my tickets online?
Occasionally, the automatically generated ticket e-mail sent by Vendini does not highlight the entire web address for your tickets. When you click on the hyperlink provided, the webpage does not exist. If this happens, you should copy the entire block of text (usually ending in ~) and paste it in a new tab on your browser. If you’re still having trouble, please forward your ticket e-mail to email@example.com , and we will reply with a shorter, functioning link to your tickets.
The website says to "select seats", but I don’t see anything.
If your computer is having problems loading the venue map, you might be using an older version of Adobe Flash Player. To update Adobe Flash, please click HERE to visit Adobe (external website).
I’m trying to purchase a REP Pass, but I am stuck in a loop trying to select my seats.
If you are caught in a cycle of selecting seats when you are purchasing a REP Pass, one or more of the shows you have selected is sold out. Please click HERE to refer to the “Sold Out” list to make sure your performances are still available. If you are still having trouble, please contact the Box Office at 304.876.3473 or 800.999.CATF/2283
I’m having other problems purchasing my tickets online.
Please make sure you are using the most recent version of Vendini’s supported browsers (Internet Explorer 9+, Safari 7+, Firefox, or Chrome). Internet Explorer 1-8 and Safari 1-6 are not compatible with Vendini.
Please note, there is a time limit to purchase tickets. If you do not complete your transaction within seven minutes of selecting your seats, you will be redirected to select your performance date.
Where do I select the discount for senior tickets?
If you are purchasing a REP Pass, Step 3 (Review Order) offers a drop down menu that will allow you to select a “Senior” discount option. Please make sure you apply the discount to all of the applicable performances and tickets.
If you are purchasing individual tickets, the “Review Selection” offers a drop down menu to select the “Senior” discount option.
For other discounts, including student and military prices, please call the box office at 304.876.3473 or 800.999.CATF/2283 to purchase your tickets.
Where can I park?
Shepherd University parking is FREE and open to CATF patrons. Please obey all handicap and fire lane regulations. There are three large parking lots conveniently located between the Frank Center and
Marinoff/Studio 112 Theaters. Please DO NOT park in the parking lot off of Shepherd Grade Road as this parking lot is for production staff vehicles and buses only.
Where can I pick up my will-call tickets?
All of your tickets will be waiting for you at the venue and time of your first performance. There is a box office located just outside of the theater in each venue.
If you still have questions regarding purchasing your tickets or the Festival, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the box office at 304.876.3473 or 800.999.CATF/2283 between noon and 5pm Monday through Friday.
What are Pay-What-You-Can Previews and how do they work?
- Pay-What-You-Can Previews are your opportunity to see the shows before Opening Night! With your donation (of any amount), you can secure your seats to the production.
- NEW: Preview tickets are not distributed in advance. The first time preview tickets are available is two hours before the performance’s start time. Tickets for all performances will be available at the Frank Center.
- Tickets for Pay-What-You-Can Previews are general admission (no assigned seats) and are sold on a first come, first serve basis – so do arrive early as our smaller spaces (Studio 112 & Marinoff Theater) will sell out!
