- A conversation with the writers behind the words of the plays on stage at CATF. Featuring Lisa D’Amour, The Smoker; Beth Kander, Best Line Wins; Yussef El Guindi, Refugee Rhapsody, Christina Pumareiga; and Vos!; Aurin Squire, My Favorite Sociopath. This event will be moderated by CATF Artistic Director, Peggy McKowen with special guest Emily Morse of New Dramatists.
JULY 18: New Plays in Troubling Times
- With theaters closing, arts funding drying up, and neighborhoods on lockdown can new plays thrive? Join us for a conversation about the future of American theater with Nan Barnett, executive Director of the National New Play Network.

- From Broadway to Hollywood, this event will focus on the barriers faced by a woman of talent. This iteration of our Lectures series will be moderated by Susan Mills in conversation with Brent Lang, Executive Editor of Variety.

- A little dose of improv to improve your health. There will be some sketch comedy with audience participation led by Shea-Mikal Green, CATF Assistant Artistic Director, Maryland Ensemble Theater (MET) actor, James Mcgarvey, MET actor, and Laura Stark, MET actor.
