Christina Pumariega
Playwright
Christina Pumariega (she/her) acts and writes. Often simultaneously. Last spring she performed in the world premiere of her play ¡VOS! at Two River Theater. ¡VOS! was developed at the Ojai Playwrights Conference, received the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award and was nominated for the 2026 Pulitzer Prize. She recently performed in VIDAS PRIVADAS, inspired by Noël Coward’s PRIVATE LIVES, at New York Stage & Film. She is a 25/26 member of Center Theater Group’s LA Writers’ Workshop and just completed a fellowship at the MacDowell Colony. Other plays include LABOR (Leah Ryan honorable mention), JOAN DARK (Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ New Play Summit), HARBOR GIRLS and HER MATH PLAY (EST/Sloan Grant). She is currently under commission by Manhattan Theatre Club/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and DCPA. TV writing credits include Disney+ and NBC.
Acting on and Off-Broadway and in television and film, Pumariega has cross examined Coach Taylor, made out with the Fly and set a Cuban pharmacy ablaze in a corset. MFA, NYU Graduate Acting Program.

Kimberly Senior ‡
Director
Kimberly Senior is a freelance director whose award winning work has been seen in 15 states in over 200 productions. At CATF, Kimberly directed Enough to Let the Light In and The Niceties. Kimberly helped to develop and directed the Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize winning, Tony nominated Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar. Kimberly directed the HBO special Chris Gethard: Career Suicide and her work in audio has ranged from Marvel’s The Wastelanders to C13’s Ghostwriter, in addition to producing dozens of other projects for Audible. Her work with solo artists includes Harvey Fierstein, Aasif Mandvi, Dan Rather and many others. Kimberly currently teaches for Yale University, recently ran the MFA Directing program at Brooklyn College and has taught for dozens of other MFA and BFA programs all over the country. She has developed and performed original work in the U.S. and internationally through residencies such as Cow House Studios in Wexford, Ireland and The Iron Factory in Philadelphia. Sarah Rose Leonard is the Senior Dramaturg at the Ojai Playwrights Conference. She has held literary staff positions at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Signature Theatre, and Page 73. Sarah Rose was the Co-Editor of the Obie Award-winning theater criticism publication 3Views on Theater from 2021-2025. Her production dramaturgy credits include Eureka Day, Ain’t Too Proud (Broadway), The Lehman Trilogy, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, twenty50 (Denver Center), The Great Wave, The Good Book, Angels in America (Berkeley Rep), and A Particle of Dread, Kung Fu, Big Love (Signature).
Kirsten Trump
Vocal Coach
Kirsten is a Professor of Theater at Shenandoah Conservatory. Most recently there, she has directed Everybody, She Kills Monsters, and A Dream Play. Kirsten has worked with CATF since its inception, from actor to dialect coach, to educational director to board member, Kirsten’s coaching work includes over 80 plays, and she has most recently worked as a coach for CATF’s Tornado Tastes Like Aluminum Sting by Harmon dot aut, 2024, and Redeemed by Chisa Hutchinson in 2023. In previous seasons, Kirsten has worked on productions of such notable American playwrights as Lee Blessing, Keith Glover, and Catherine Filleaux.
